flieger67
I was talking with a Ford salesman today about the car I'm planning to order later on this year. I thought I wanted Tungsten, as my wife thinks the color on Eleanor looks great and thought it would be fun to match it as closely as possible from the factory colors. To both of us, it looked like Tungsten would be the color for that. However, the sales guy I was chatting with said that Alloy is supposed to be about a dead-on match for Eleanor. He did say that he's not seen Alloy in person yet (they haven't gotten any '07's in that color as of today) but he thought I should check out Alloy before making my decision. So what have you folks heard? Is Alloy more true to Eleanor than Tungsten?
robertlane
We'll post some more alloy and tungsten photos tonight - they were both taken on an overcast day, so you can see true color better. flieger67
Thanks for the responses. I'll check out the photos. Robert - thanks for the info. I'll look for the photos. Mark - I saw a Tungsten GT yesterday and it was fairly cloudy here. I thought it looked a lot different than when I saw it on a sunny day. I agree that it takes on some purple and blue tint to it in lower light.
Son of GT
To my eyes, Tungston has a Lavender hue to it.
CAR GUY
To my eyes, Tungston has a Lavender hue to it. Alloy would work for your stripes but is very dark to get an elenor effect. Chris
