COMPARE THESE 0-60 #'S

Responding to some of the bad performance #'s that some magazines are publishing on the GT500. I am sure their heads must be stuck up their A--holes. Check out these #'s from TV's Motoring 2006 on an 06 Bentley weighing in at 5500 lbs; with 552 hp; 479 ft-tq; 0-60 in 4.2 sec at top speed of 312 kms, no 1/4 times available and it has the aerodynamics of a boxcar. Compare this to our GT500, even at 3900 lbs; 500hp; 480 ft-tq; traction is definitely the problem and probably bad drivers. Believe me guys this car is going to fly.

Traction is without a dought the main thing holding the GT500 back.

Is it possible to improve the traction???

In my humble opinion guys, all of the talk around power modification

is a waist of time and money when the car already has trouble getting

the power it has to the ground without just spinning in place. This is

the first place to mod if you're going to, otherwise it's pointless.

Any thoughts???

It's all just "bench racin'" until these things hit the streets. As soon as people start posting time slips we'll all know for sure what they'll do.

I personally wouldn't consider power mods a waste of time. You'll just have to match suspension mods with engine mods.
