Jon_Purdy Posted June 9, 2006 Report Share Posted June 9, 2006 Hello everyone! I'm a new member and hope someone can help resolve an annoying problem. I installed Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers not too long ago and have since noticed that the left side muffler makes contact with the rear-most mounting bracket on that side when I go over rutted/bumpy roads and railroad tracks. The tip on the left side muffler sticks out about a half inch further than the right. So, I thought I could just move the left side muffler back that half inch it would clear the bracket. I crawled under the car for a look and didn't see how that was possible. Has anyone else out there had this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it? Thanks in advance for your input.
