Willie
Just changed the engine oil for the first time. I put in 6-1/2 quarts per owner's manual and the dipstick reads right in the middle of the cross-hatched area. Is the cross-hatched area the "normal" range for oil level and leave it be or should I top it off with another half quart so the dipstick reads at the top (full?) of the hatched area?? SLB8SNK
Easier to add than reduce! 6.5, test, re-test, then add.
