stpracer43
Just checking in to see if any of our members are being affected by the floods along I-5? First, hoping You all are safe and not in harms way, and second - hope your cars are in a safe/dry place as well. Take Care, Keith

Grabber
Thanks for asking you all. I have been wondering about Grabber. Southern WA sure got hit hard. Hope everone is ok. My little pocket of NW WA survived fine. I have very good drainage around my place. I made sure of that when I built my place. I installed bed of riverrock around my house that goes to a drain pipe that feeds a big detention pond that is huge. This functional river bed around my house cost me $2000.00 to install. I did all the work myself of course, so that was just materials. It keeps Tana and I high and dry. MOst of the year it is bone dry, but last weekend is ran 1/2 full like a river. Check it out. Five Oh B
While our downtown area was flooded (nothing dramatic & no real damage), our house sits atop a hill so we're safe and dry. I sure feel badly for those in the Centralia and Chehalis areas who were so hard hit.
