Five Oh B Posted May 30, 2006 Report Share Posted May 30, 2006 My absolutely bone stock 03 Mach 1 went a best of 13.36 @ 104 mph on factory tires. 13.01 @ 105 mph on drag radials. Quicker through the 1/8 mile and feels way better driving on the street, but the extra shift (into 4th gear) at the 1/4 mile drags is offsetting the benefit of the steeper gears! Guess it's time to replace the POS stock shifter with a high quality aftermarket shifter, then I'll see some 12.90 timeslips. On a positive note, the mph through the traps is higher now (105+ mph with the 4.30's versus 103-4 mph with the 3.55's). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
