06ragtopGT
Programmable shift light (Chirp).Tell me more about that. Where is light? Is that on past cobras?
oldimp
I have tried to attach the drawing from the order guide that shows the light being an arrow. In the magazine write up it says it is a light saying "SVT" I believe. This is all I have seen so far referring to the shift light.
150man
Seems sorta dumb. They put the tach on the right so you can see it better, then they put the light on the left? Besides, if you need a light to show you when to shift, you should probably be getting an automatic.

5.4 Shelby
The arrow on the left is an upshift light to help fuel economy. The SVT on the tach is a programmable shift light that you can program to light at a certain RPM to tell you when to shift for racing.
150man
I think it would be safer to have your eyes outside the windshield than staring at the dash, waiting for a light to come on.
DVS2XS
That is why it ALSO makes a sound - the "chirp" mentioned in the first post.
