lenko
My 06 Mustang GT is just a great car, but had a light engine ticking on passenger side from new. Dealership diagnosed it as noisy lifters on cylinder 3 and replaced the 3 lifters and rocker arms on that cylinder. Engine's as quiet as a purring cat now at idle. The left rear quarter panel had a slight leak and the dealership sealed that in the gas tank filler well. Console had a teeny scratch on it and they replaced the console without question. Installed a GT Plenum cover for appearance. Picked up an almost brand new C & L, CAI and just waiting to order the XCalII to install the intake and put a tune on 'er. Don't even want to drive the 04 Avalanche much any more, way too much fun in the GT.
stangster
Mine also has ticking coming from right side. Took it in and mechanic said Ford claims it is "normal" but to bring it back if it gets any louder. Love the car, but don't like the noise. Son of GT
For what it's worth, my 03' Marauder does the same. The tick is not too loud, but I know it's there.
