Alloy Dave
Funny you should mention that............he's Dr. Richards. I had a guy at work who had a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, so he suggested I call him "Doctor" Mark Smith (fake name). I told him I'd gladly do that so long as he calls me "Master" Dave....after all, I do have a Master's Degree. Needless to say that guy doesn't like me anymore. 68fastback
I was thinkin' of swappin engines for ya. Got a great deal on this 1945 1100CID Ford DOHC 60* V8 Cammer from a Sherman-2a tank! Like new too! Well over 1000 ft-lbs Tq at 2000 rpm! Should move the excursion pretty well. Wha'dya think, Joegie? Btw, they were originally 27-liter(!) 60* V12s that Ford designed for aircraft but the military wanted a V8 for the Sherman-2a so Ford lopped off four cylinders and the first MODULAR DOHC FORD was born! Ya gotta love it! <edit:> ok, ok, I did a search just for laughs and, of course, what else, someone has actually put one of these behemouths in a 1970 Mustang :happy feet: Ya just gotta love it! With a pair of 8:71 S/Cs on nitro I think It should be good for about 18,000HP
