Hello everyone, I just joined the site and wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Ohio, I bought my GT500 several months ago and have been enjoying it since. It's black with tungsten stripes, black interior with red appointments. I've only put about 600 miles or so on it so far but I'm taking it to the dragstrip this week for a grudge race against my buddy's viper. I've owned mustangs all my life, my first car was a 68 sports sprint 289 and I've owned a bunch of performance mustangs, a 67 GT500, 69 GT500, two 68 1/2 R-code Cobra Jet mustangs and I've even owned two ERA 427 Cobra replicas. Right now I'm finishing a 68 fastback with an aluminum 427 Tunnel Port stroker engine and a toploader 4 speed that's done up as a tribute to the original super snake GT500. I haven't figured out how to load a pic on here yet so here are a couple of links to pics.

I hope to get to know some of you and possibly see some of your cars in the future.

Welcome to the site.

For others, be careful of these links. My spyware caught a bot attached to them...trying to load software on my pc.

Nice looking cars Doug. Welcome to Stangs. Looks like you have a nice shop to keep the cars in and do painting, that's very cool. See ya around.

Wow! My apologies. I reference these sites for my car pics all the time and haven't had any problems. Hopefully this was an isolated incident.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I have had some nice cars, I sure wish I had kept them all but hopefully won't make some of the same mistakes in the future.
