So often I see slobbering over foreign cars on internet forums. I've yet to see where any of that stuff is superior to what is produced by American based manufacturers.I guess you missed the 80's when most of our cars were crap. That's when companies like Datsun/Nissan and Toyota took off. To this day, those companies rival ours. I'm a red-blooded, born and raised American and my family has worked for Ford for many years, but I've owned many (like 20) new Nissan and Toyota models since 1989 (and still do today) and they've all been great cars. There are many other great foreign auto makers as well, but then again there are those that should have gone under years ago or sold out to better companies like Jaguar did. AK.
