HARALD KELLEY
I'm not aware of anything unusual in this car's historical time line. It was originally rented out of Warwick, RI., and later reassigned to one of the Florida locations. As for mileage, this car was advertised on line about a year ago with 33,000+ miles. Jeff.........here's the link from the #1 post in this thread http://cars.trovit.com/index.php/cod.frame/id.1u21pbf1n3S/origin.51/section.21/section_type.1/url.http%253A%252F%252Fwww.cacars.com%252FCar%252F1012636.htm%253Ftrv_cid%253D2830571154a5d6d06c373bb903fdd51e7b363d3d/tracking.HczBCoQgFEbhV4l_bXB1FMGXiWtaSGKRlzbRuzczq7P5ODd6bqm0dSoJAY5MzNy6cN3GuI9knNfafZZM2sYEBa75lD-23pN11ij0o5Z94lnKlRFIQU6et99UeEW4sSBoheEw3z7PCw/pop.0/ajax.0/ Just a quick Kudo's to HERTZ II for his on going passion/history search etc. The info is valuable for owners and future owners in conjunction with the Shelby registry Steve Thornton keeps up on. Maybe the high price because of being in Canada and their regulations for someone to get one into the Country?

Thanks! Wow, that is crazy money. The statement might be right that it's only going to go up in value if they were around $30K, but not up from $65K in a long time if ever! Helge Ruchelski
Yup I agree, that's a little high...$30,000- $35,000 seems about right, and i'm in Canada...
SAI-Steven
I'm assuming his asking price is based on his belief that he has the only 2007 GTH in Canada which I'm having difficulty believing. How would he know that? Has he looked in every garage and storage building in Canada? Even if the seller had access to Canada's motor vehicle records how would he know if a fellow Canadian didn't purchase a 2007 GTH to stick away and never transferred the U.S. title to a Canadian title? As HertzII can attest to there are dozens of GTH cars that have vanished with no public records on their whereabouts so just because a seller hasn't seen another GTH in his part of the Country doesn't necessarily mean there couldn't be one. Like many seller claims, you just don't know if the seller believes these claims, especially if the person who sold them the car made the same claim, or if they are the person who made up the claim to assist in selling their car. But hey if he can get his price then more power to him. Higher selling prices benefit all Shelby GTH owners. Steve
Helge Ruchelski
Actually there is no way of Knowing any GT-H's are in Canada as they are registered here as a Mustang GT's. I think the only way to know who has one is if the owner tells someone.

QuickSilverShelby
I have an 07 GT-H so that means there's at least two in Canada. I guess that dude just isn't looking around that hard. QSS

06H302
The ebay listing 06H135 from 06/20 is listed for $30K w/ 6000 miles, which seems like a pretty good deal with the Shelby rims. Unfortunately, this appears to be the same car that is listed on Autotrader w/ 31K miles, so something is not right.

Yes somethings not right with that ebay ad and not just the mileage. Why is the seller calling the car a Super Lite Race Replica along with saying it has a 302 engine. The seller also is keeping the CarCheck report from showing by not entering the cars full VIN number. Just not getting why there's so much bad info in that auction, potential buyers will need to ask plenty of questions. Steve
HERTZ II
Hey Guys.... I think what we are seeing is an example of how "NOT" to put a listing on Ebay. It seems to be a case of careless editing on someone's part. Below is a link to another car by the same seller with the same heading...... "1966 Ford Mustang GT350-R "super lite" race replica. I suspect this is the correct 1966 car. If both ads (2006 GT-H and the 1966 GT350-R) were placed at the same time, somebody got parts of the 1966's description mixed with that of the 2006. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Mustang-GT350-R-super-lite-Race-replica-/191900451427?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2cae288263:g:LEIAAOSwvg9XZbBF&item=191900451427 Edited June 21, 2016 by HERTZ II

06H302
Does anyone know anything about car 06H354 listed on ebay as an exec car? When I pull the carfax it shows 1 year, 7 months as a rental, and then it gets titled in Puerto Rico in 2008 with no mileage reported. So basically my point is, that it's hard to tell if it's an exec car or not. Current mileage is 8800. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Mustang-GT-H-/381707790849?forcerrptr=true&hash=item58df8eaa01:g:DEwAAOSw2zlXhWjo&item=381707790849

HERTZ II
As Stevens' link to Vantage Sports Cars shows, yes, this is a legit Exec car. Vantage sold it for the Exec in 2011. Looking at the current Ebay listing, the Autocheck report shows the car was registered in Puerto Rico in Oct 2006, just a couple months after being issued its initial registration with Hertz. Cool that the Vantage link is still available after all of these years. Strange that the carfax omits the 10/2006 entry (03/2008 is when the new owner/title change is reported on carfax), but I do see it now on the autocheck. Thanks for the info. 06H014
I'm really liking those gold stripes on the chin spoiler. I haven't really noticed one like that before. Welcome! Ya know what... I didn't even notice that when I was looking. I was told by the previous owner (private owner #2) that the previous owner (private owner #1) removed the stripes and had them painted on. So my Shelby racing stripes (not the rocker panel stripes) are painted, and I guess they painted them all the way down to the chin spoiler. Interestingly, the new 2016 is like that, with the stripes going all the way down. So, it's a little different.
