Another debate here I always thought of the early vipers as Shelby's due to Shelby creating them opposed to mustangs that were created by someone else and later improved by Shelby making a not all mustangs being Shelby's scenario. I love Shelby's cars but I like the tiger because of Get Smart and if I owned one wouldn't really care what somebody else labeled it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest markham51 Posted December 9, 2015 Report Share Posted December 9, 2015 I only drove a Tiger once w the 289. A friend of my Mom had one. He also had a Humber. Both were fun, but I got to take the Tiger out for a run and kicked the ass of a 66 hopped up Chevy. All i remember after passing the Chevy was all of the papers floating around in the back seat...when you got going really fast air would come into the cabin as the c-top didn't seem to fit really well. It was a blast though, and always thought they were a very cool car. My first car was a 63 Fairlane coupe with the 260V8. Memories... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
