2010KonaBlueGT
This idea would be great; the only problem is how can they afford to make yet another Mustang: v6 GT Boss 302 Boss 302 LS Shelby GT500 The Boss 302 is dead at the end of this year. Remove the Boss and LS, you're left with; V6 GT GT500.... Phill

That's not to say that they won't build a Boss 9, etc. Phill
ilmor
Two questions; 1. Can a "Boss 351" co-exist with a GT500? 2. Is history about to repeat itself - Boss 351 Mustang comes along, the Shelby relationship ends and a smaller Mustang debuts?
KR158
Any idea the weight of the 5.8 without blower vs the weight of the 5.0 in the 302? Also anyone know the weight difference between a 2008 gt500kr and a boss 302 or 302LS
Captain Beyond
Also anyone know the weight difference between a 2008 gt500kr and a boss 302 or 302LS The 2007-2009 GT500s weigh 3920 lbs. with the Shaker 1000 and 3850 without as per Ford. The KRs should be slightly lighter with the CB hood, exhaust and wheels. I think I may have that info somewhere with all my KR literature. Don't know about the Boss 302 though, but I'm sure it's a couple of hundred lbs. lighter.
John Canfield
Leave the blower off if the 5.8 in the Boss 351. Makes a lot more sense then.
