Engine dynos are used for measuring engine power throughout the rpm range under controlled, standardized conditions. These #s are valid for comparrisons. Chasis dynos are for tuning purposes and have variability from a medley of reasons. Ambient air temperature can easily skew a peak reading by 20-30. Chasis dyno results are essentially useless for purposes other than tuning but have become somewhat of a gold standard to many in the internet enthusiast community. Use the SAE values generated under supervised, standardized conditions vs chasis dyno reports and all the extrapolations and assumptions that are made afterwards.

609RWHP on a Dynojet....boom!!!

Is that the number from the You Tube vid someone posted?

If it is, "frydguy79" hit 609rwhp on the nose.

I should'a stuck with the newer 10% parisitic loss. I would'a ended up wiht 612RWHP instead of 578.

Should'a, Would'a, Could'a!

588 RWHP. (OBTW, that's with SAE 12% parasitic drive train loss).
