Favorite meal

Recommended Posts

I know what my favorite meal used to be but, see, I live in California and, well, a while back, we had this here election and, after the election, it became official that the favorite meal of everyone in California is required to be quiche so I guess that is what my favorite meal is. :censored:

This is a cool thread!

I have two polar opposite faves. If I'm feelin' it, and worked out hard that day, (burned calories) My absolute fave is Wheat Penne Bolognaese! Of course with a fine Cab from NorCal, or Italy.

#2 (which accounts for about 3 or 4 nights a week in our home) Grilled Salmon (on the patio grille) Grilled veggies mixed with jalapeno and other peppers on the grille in a pan, one of my wife's awesome ceasar salads, and again a fine red from Italy on this night!

:salute:

That's the reason I keep the girlish figure!!! :hysterical:

In Pennsylvania, there are many delicacies-- possum pie, squirrel gizzards, fried frog legs, roasted hawk, rabbit stew, cow tongue, and seared cow eyes just to name a few. You can find at most top shelf restaurants!!!!!!!!!!

Gregg - Bacardi Añejo, huh? You are definitely a Renaissance man. I remember it fondly. Quick, what does Añejo mean?

"Aged or Vintage" are the two translations I have seen the most...

I had my first taste of Anejo back in the early 1990's when a friend brought a bottle back from a trip to Mexico beerchug.gif

And I hadn't been able to find it for years after I got out of the Air Force...

Now I can buy as many bottles as I want from the Liquor Store just on the other side of town yahoo.gif

Shall I bring a bottle with me to next year's Bash???

Bingo on the translation. "Aged" is the one I use and, as to a bottle coming to the next Bash, I vote for that. Maybe we can get Chris Carter to give it a try although I am pretty sure he is Patron snob so he may have to just watch the rest of us drink it. ;)

I'll make sure I add a bottle to my list of things to bring for next year happy%20feet.gif

And the only thing I can remember about my once-in-a-lifetime encounter with Sr. Patron was finding my wallet empty and a $50 receipt in my pant's pocket the next morning headscratch.gif

Every thing else about that previous night was just a blur hysterical.gif

So I think I'll stick with the Anejo and Coke...
