Grid on PS3

Recommended Posts

Does anyone here play Grid on Playstation 3? If you have a PS3, you guys should buy the game Grid. Amazing racing game with lots of classic and modern mustangs. They even have the Camaro and Charger. Best alternative until Gran Turismo 5 comes out. If you guys want to race with me online, my PSN is ShelbyGT57.

Iracing is for the Iphone? Get ps3 man! Wife got it for me to keep me from spending on my car :hysterical: . It actually works, for now. Keeps me entertained and preoccupied. Plus PS3 plays bluray dvds, surf the web, and rent movies. Pretty awesome entertainment system and they are selling cheap now at Bestbuy. Here's Grid on PS3 with the mustang GT-R:

I have GRID, but unfortunatly I have it for Xbox 360.

I do want to get a PS3 though. I am very eager to get and play GT5 :shift:

why can't they just also make it so you can play it on a PS2 or Xbox 360? :banghead:

Yes I am so eager to get Gran Turismo 5 as well. They were supposed to release it this November but got pushed to end of December :angry22: Grid is still a good substitute for now as you may know since you've played it. The car damage is so amazing in this game that Gran Turismo 5 will be doing the same but not as good as Grid. Get PS3 so I can see how good you are :hysterical:

This is my set up, tells you that I am dead serious about this game:

Actually looks pretty cool. Are there any internet lags? Don't know if wife will approve of the monthly fee and another steering wheel for the pc.

If you have a steering wheel for the PS3, it will also work with the PC. just FYI

I have a wireless connection from hi-speed cable internet (Comcast) and have no internet lag. My computer is an HP laptop to which I've connected a 27" HP monitor. My computer could be much better to drive the graphics and frame rate, but it works well enough until I can afford a good gaming PC (or maybe Santa will bring me something?). I also use the Logitech G27 wheel & pedals, and a Bob Earl Racing seat / chassis

iRacing is pricey in the sense that you have the monthly fee, plus beyond certain cars and tracks that come with the initial subscription you will be necessarily tempted to buy more cars and more tracks. For example, iRacing just released its Formula One car, which everyone is raving about. The cars & tracks cost around $12 to $15 each. Plus, now it has made me want to spend money on a good gaming computer.

Looks pretty hardcore. I wanted to go with a steering wheel, pedal and stand setup, but I'm not really sure.

I heared about the entrie GT5 thing with it being pushed back. I agree that it"s a PITA. It is kind of a pretty good substitute. Forza 3 is the same way as well. The only problem with damage in forza 3 that differs from GRID, is that when Forza advertised that it now has rollover, it is"t as realistic as GRID where it"s like an intense crash and flip. Forza 3 is like playing with toy cars and flpping them over by hand if you know what I mean. :play:

I may consider trading the PS2 in for a PS3. I'll have to think about because after I started playing the gran turismo series starting with GT3-GT4, I was hooked. I am eager for the damage and graphics for that game too.
