You are all welcome to meet at my place. I'm just a mile from Exit 30 on I-84.

Secondo is nearby (~3 miles) and it is easy access for yellow pony, and TS members from Massachusetts.

Depending on traffic, it should be no more than 2 hours from here to Wick's. Is that about right Michael?

That would be I-84 to NY State, then I-684 to the Saw Mill Expressway, to I-287 over the Tappan Zee Bridge, to the Garden Stae Parkway, exit 154.

Sounds like a good plan QuadCam! We'll kickoff the convoy at your place!

The route looks good too (definitely not interested in taking the GW Bridge through NYC!) The Sawmill Pkwy should be fun!

Hmm, what do you think guys??? Should we let the elusive Ilmor  join in the fun???

Sure! The more the merrier. Maybe if we get enough of us we can get our own police escort down the GSP!

Hold on a minute! :stop:

I thought you were going to DC on a educational vacation for Emma? :headscratch:

In fact, I planned on taking your picture at The Brickyard this weekend so Lauren can print you out on one of Gerber's 10' x 5' Ion printers.

They can print on Coreplast (corregated plastic) an we'll have an instant Ilmor we can carry to the Wicked Nationals.

Do I detect a change in plans?

Just a reminder that my annual car show and bar bq is taking place on Saturday August 7th at 1:00 at my house in Clifton, NJ.

Please join us for some food friends music and of course....cars ....cars...cars....

Dash plaques and goodie bags to all participants. 1st and 2nd place trophies awarded from peer judging and the lovely Dale Bruno

I would LOVE to go but with our recent move to AR and the new job etc., it's just not in the cards.

So many people I haven't seen in more than a year it really bums me out.

Have fun my friend!

From IL to AR? Wow! Talk about culture shock!

Sincerely wish you well Jeff... Like Mr. Spock always says: "Live Long and Prosper!"

I'll be sure to tell Guido Smartassio he can stop hiding in the trunk because you won't be at the Wicked Nationals.

Perhaps next year?

Quad, who is in the caravan now?

So far, the "confirmed" are Ilmor, yellow pony, Secondo and SexyStang, Lauren and I.

The Connecticut contingent is ready to lock and load!

The "possibles" are the two from Massachusetts; Carnut, and Brianspony.

>Carnut didn't know if his wife or work would let him go...

>Brianspony said his car was not running, I didn't ask why... :nonono:

The plan is to meet at my place (~ 1 mile west of of Exit 30, I-84) at 9:00 AM. :grouphug:

Departure time at 9:30 AM to head your way. :burnout:

This should give us plenty of time, wouldn't you think?

Hope to have the Shelby running next Monday. It spent all last week at Imperial Ford with the differential torn apart being rebuilt. Seems two good burn outs with my new urethane bushings was all it could handle. Wheel hop is fixed, rear end is fixed, but now I just have to get this damn clunk fixed. Secondo is sending me a set of anti-clunk washers to see if they finish repair. If all goes well and I don't get stuck working, I will be going with you all to Joyseee.

:hysterical3: I'm finally seeing your post here today! You already know this now since we talked, but yes the reason this worked out for me is because our DC vacation got moved due to a school start date for our daughter.

Its a bummer that we weren't able to meet up in-person at Indy - we'll have to plan that better next time! I'll be there again next year....

I have been working on training my cutout to drive my car.

Also, a friend of mine, Scott, is planning to drive up from his NJ home in his Lincoln LS to join the fun (yes, QuadCam, the same Scott...).....My apologies in advance, however, he is primarily a GM guy....
