Short and sweet one here...the past couple of months I noticed a noise (sounds like a squeeky spring being compressed) when driving and when I press the brake pedal. I only hear it in the Left-rear brake, and it doesn't continue after the pedal is held down...only the initial sound - no continuous sound as you would get if sand was present between the pad and the rotor. I will have the dealership check it out when I have to get the car inspected again, but I'm not going to just take it down for this. Any clue what may be causing this noise?
