We'll see if Obama can make good on his campaign pledge to get Bin Laden. Bush didn't wreck the economy, 9/11 did. Bush did well after the attack to bring the country's economy back. He also did a pretty good job of destroying the middle class. Ollie North did warn about Islamic extremism, but not Bin Laden. He referred to Abu Nidal. Energy prices were used to manipulate the economy and the election including the govenorship of California. Enron, remember them? Last year big oil got a little too greedy and fuel prices and profits were very high for the oil companies. They knew it was the last big screwing they were going to give us for a while so they gave it to us good. Exxon made 475 billon dollars in profits and the Saudis and other Arab states made untold amounts. That money left the country and created a cash crisis and mortally wounded the economy. They looted this country. They also spent massive amounts of money. Take a look and deficit spenders for the last 30 years...they arent democrats. You can blow all the smoke you want about liberal this and fannie that...believe what you want or what Rush Limbaugh tells you to believe. This would have NEVER been an issue had Letterman NOT given McCain such a hard time about blowing off Dave's show for the Today show. NOBODY from the GOP said a friggin word when Conan, Jon Stewart, and Colbert (to name a few) made very similar remarks about Palin and her pregnant daughter. Letterman's writer made a mistake who they referenced, Dave apologized, Palin accepted. DONE DEAL! BTW, why aren't these protesters AT WORK?
