Science has demonstrated through MRI that parts of the brain shut down when someone has made up their minds about something as meaningful to them as politics. They are unable to face the possibility that they are wrong. Look at the unabashed hypocrisy shown on this forum by so many. They either don't care, or can't admit to it. We must also remember that some young people on the forum have only heard of the so called evils of capitalism and the utopia of socialism. It is preached in schools and in the media. Some people from other countries have lived in a socialist society and do not know the joys of advancement through hard work. But again, it was interesting to watch Dr. Friedman espouse his views and the socialist Donahue wisely shut up because he knew he could not argue.
