Dig-It Posted May 9, 2008 Report Share Posted May 9, 2008 If you examine the Kenne Bell for the 4.6 you won't find that, they stuff the intake through the core support (requires cutting) with flex hose and hang the air cleaner out there in the open, I thought it was a horrible design or lack of one and that was a deal breaker for me. It looks like the the Kenne Bell kit for '05-'08 puts the air filter in the same place as the SN95 kits (behind the front bumper - passenger side). I've been running the KB 1.7L on my '01 Mustang GT for almost five years now with the air filter in this location and I haven't had an issue yet. I don't like the looks of the flexible hose KB uses inbetween the MAF and the inlet tube on the S197 kits. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
