I started as an apprentice machinist in 1969 for a Canadian railroad. I worked my way up through the ranks as general manager where we overhauled several locomotives a year. 27 years later I left when the railroad sold the facility. 11 years ago I moved to the States and now work for a leasing company. As a share holder, I manage the performance, maintenance and overhaul programs of our fleet of 800 locomotives. I also specialize in EMD 2 cycle engines, big ones. I love what I do and it has been a great ride.

Shelby3 I come from a railroad family on my fathers side (PRR). Still do a little HO Brass Model RailRoading. Use to build all my own structures etc.. My grandfather use to have a coal train pick us up each year and drop us off up in Elk County Pa. at our hunting camp. 2 weeks later the coal train would be waiting to take us home. The smell of that steam engine and the sound-wow! That was back in the 50's. Never forget it!

Here is one. 3800 HP from a 16 cylinder engine which has 710 cubic inches each!

Very cool. In the scheme of things, is this engine a hot rod or a Taurus?

More pics!!

What does MILF stand for? If you know, where did you first learn about this acronym?

I do marketing and Real Estate. I also just got my freight brokers license, since my dad is a an owner-operator/driver.

But I would really like to become a professional mystery automobile shopper. Imagine...I get paid to go buy a GT500, at their costs, and I get paid for it and get to keep the Shelby. I see the light :yahoo:
