Very interested in your impressions of the MSD coil packs and the driveline. How come you went Chromemoly instead of aluminum? diameter?

The chomemoly is still a significant weight savings over stock. 23lbs vs. 48lbs great still for less rotating mass. Secondly this is the same drive shaft that is being utilized on 900rwhp GT500's without failure or vibration issues. I guess in the end it's a durability thing with me. Just a little more reassurance aginst faliure. Still a one piece shaft which will eliminate the launch delay caused by the hanger bearing like the factory shaft. I'll let you know when the winter breaks on the Coil Packs. I'm going to install them when we take the car to the dyno and tweak the tune after the mods. I am planning a base run and then one with the exhaust and one with the exhaust and coil packs.

So Ross if you have my impatience these items will be installed within the first week.

Whatch'a going to do for the remainder of the 4 months of winter? :D

You know I was just like that. But over the last 4 weeks or so I beilve I will just pace myself. I still need to have the window tint completed, install the interior rear side window block off's, install my dip stick handle and intercooler resivoir cap then give the undercarriage a complete detail. I think I'll be all set for the entire winter. But if I don't get off the internet I know the list could get longer! ;)

Adam has already had some items added over the last 2 weeks. I think he is way ahead of me. :o

Wow, sounds like some great upgrades. I am very interested as well to hear your report on the new drive shaft. Have any of you thought of trying or are using an electric waterpump also? I've heard that changing out those two components alone can make a big difference.

I would not recommend the electric water pump for a street vehicle. It is designed more for a drag race/strip vehicle only. Good HP savings, but again, I would recommend only for the strip.

I haven't looked in to it but it sounds like an interesting idea to me. I was talking to a friend who had engine overheating problems and the electrics high and constant flow cured his issues.
