I can somewhat understand and swallow Ford going after the niche markets with the "Steed for every breed" slogan, but some of these after market guys making up their own is a stretch. I'm going to take my Shelby and remove all the "Shelby" badges and replace them with my favorite football team / corporate sponsor / music group / dog breed / breakfast cereal and have a one-off "special edition" hand-made car! Amy are you refering to the Job 1 2008s or is there going to be a job 2 2008 also? If only Job 1 then, that leaves around 8000 total Shelby GTs? Amy please elaborate. The dealer says it a GT350. :rolleyes: That's a common mistake. Is it just a Shelby GT with a red stripe with it's own BJ badging? If what she said was correct about 2008 being the last for the SGT then I would think that the GT-350 would be what is coming in 2009. DLGT-H398 Posted November 4, 2007 Report Share Posted November 4, 2007 why is everyone worried about the GT350? the 350 name meant nothing to MR shelby so why should it mean anything more to us?you cant bring back 1966.dont worry guys the shelby GT will have its own place in history as the first factory shelby after 40 years.I think the GT500 owners are the ones getting geared up for a let down.they are paying a premium for nothing more than a glorified SVT cobra ( MOA)not to say those cars are not bad as heck but hey they didnt make the trip to vegas for the upfitting did they!
