The Best to You Jon CSM198 CSM 198 Hi John, I guess Hangar –7 (www.hangar-7.at) were pretty impressive. This guy is really crazy about everything he does. And next to the two dozen planes and 10 helicopters and Formula one racecars and, and, and he owns a Shelby Cobra 427 (one of three original ones in Austria as far as I know). And of course he owns Red Bull. A clever man. Austria is always worth to visit: In wintertime for skiing and in summertime for the phantastic nature, great food and friendly people. And as this is the GT-H forum I can tell you that when you visit Austria you can rent Ford Mustang convertibles at Hertz in Austria. No Shelby but still a Mustang. Service for Shelby is not possible official but there are some smaller workshops specialised on American cars. They can help and offer good quality work. Just if there is some “official” mechanical upgrade requested by Shelby they will not know about this. But again here we have a forum were hopefully all necessary informations will be posted. This year my summer holiday will bring me to New York and Florida so hopefully I will meet some other Shelby nuts over there. But there are still some days to come before I can enter Shelby-land again. Best regards

Was it hard to gut car into Europe ? did they make you do any changes to car ? Regards Jon CSM 198 Hi Jon, Sorry to not answer you for so long but I was busy, in hospital, on holiday and another 1000 reasons for being lasy. First of all thank you very much for your offer of a tour through Carmel! Would be great to do this once a time but this year will be “just New York and Florida and then later on a place I still don´t have any idea where it is but the European Golfers will win the Ryder Cup again and I want to see that live! Finally the convertible made it to Europe and got a road registration without any changes to the car except the lights. But I will give you more information on another Forum Topic: GT-H convertible in Europe. Anyway I can tell you that I really have fun with the car and I´m thinking to ship it on day back to the US to visit a Shelby convention – could at least win a price for the longest trip to the party ^_^ Best regards

If you know a car and location, please share. I do not want any personal info, only the state. To that end, we may never know the location of all the cars. Have a great drive and remeber: Carrol Shelby did it in 1966 and he did it again in 2006. Last edited 07/9/2008
