pagerart
I noticed a leak near the inside of the rear driver's side tire. The dealer says it was a leaking shock. They ordered a replacement from Ford Racing. Has anyone had this problem?

ilmor
In my entire 1650 miles I have not seen this! Bound to happen on a few, though. I'll be sure to make sure all mine are good before the warranty expires!
dmather
I noticed my driver side rear shock leaking at about 3000 miles. Dealer replaced it under warranty from Ford Racing. It was actually leaking quite bad-----left a small puddle on the floor when it was parked. I thought these shocks were gas filled. Or are they gas and oil? mccoystudio_merged
ugh, are we comparing our Shelby's to AMF Harley's now......that is a bad sign for SAI. :P Actually early harley's had a total loss oiling setup thus the two tanks. BTW Shovelheads are way cool AMF or not.
