Adam,

You out there? Your not driving to meet the truck are you? We were only kidding....:lol:

Thanks Sue, I appreciate it. I wish I could type that fast LOL.

Roger, I am in Tennessee right now. They said the guy was driving an orange shipping truck with an MFG-013 license plate. I am at a rest area scanning every orange truck that drives but but none so far with those plates. He shoud be here any miniute now

I took Matt's advise and am waiting with the trailer with the engine running waiting to hijack the truck and steel my SGT to take it ti Tasca faster.

LOL

Adam,

Congratulations? Are you sure or is this another bad joke to make yourself feel better? You haven't been drinking again have you??? No really that's great!! We know your anticipation level, been there, done that. You think it's bad now, wait until it's gets down to just hours. I still can't to this day describe the feeling of seeing that truck turn the corner. It's an overwhelming feeling. As far as the trailer goes at least you have a place to sleep now. LMAO Remember, destroy or hide all invoices. What's your wifey's cell number again? :P Now all you need to do is a 5 state contact for a police escort to Tasca. Or contact every Shelby owner from Vegas to Tasca for a truly cool escort.

Congratulations again, wish I could be there. Give me a call post delivery or if you need counseling services before delivery.(I know you will) LOL Very happy for you, you waited a long time and yes the wait will be worth it. Glad your car will get there in time for the big event. B)

Okay, I finally spoke with the driver this morning; he was in TN. Last Friday his dispatch said he might have made it here today or tomorrow but I suspect that he stopped off this weekend to go home as he lives in Alabama. He said he'll be at Tasca bright and early Wed morning (around 7).

It stinks, but at least I know what the story is. I'd 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 rather know the bad news rather than nothing at all. At least I have something to work with and know what to expect. (that is the one and only negative thing I've ever said about SAI but I have told them personally also so I don't mind saying it here. - besides, Tasca is just as bad, if not worse as they are not nearly as busy as SAI)

I spoke with the body shop guy at Tasca today. He received a new black Mustang where a guy smashed the frond fender. He is going to let me test the paint pen versus a Sharpie to see what works best for signatures. We want to make sure that the signatures won't deteriorate once the cleatcoat is put over them. Fortunately, I happened to have ordered a can of clearcoat with my order last week. I'll let you all know what works best later this week.

He also has a guy who might be able to just clearcoat the signatures only, rather than having to prep the whole quarter or roof. That will be pretty cool.

Now all I have to do is wait and hope that all goes well. I missed the opportunity for Tasca to do their work before Saturday but at least the tint and prep work will be done. And, I guess I'll have time to make my own lower CS grille.

Woohoo!
