stump_breaker
Hey stump, any trick to putting the t-handle shifter on? You got the brushed or satin finish, right? You can see I'm clueless on this stuff. I've got pretty big mitts too and would like something substantial to hold on to. I also got the light graphite interior on my white SGT. I really like the look now that I've seen pictures. I like the parchment on the black cars, but not the white. My humble opinion. Thanks, Dave Super simple Dave. It took a 5/8 wrench to loosen the backing nut locking the shifter ball in place. Once that is loose, the ball just spins off. The Hurst t handle was $20 at Autozone and comes with adapters for various size shifter bars. You choose the sleeve that fits the bar threads and then screw this into the T handle using the supplied loc-tite to hold it in place. I ran it down on the bar threads to really get the sleeve tight in the T handle. Then you find the appropriate locking collar (3/4 wrench) set your t handle where you want it and lock it down. Takes 5 minutes.
