FSTOPN
I have a 427 AC cobra I have been told that the engine and transmission numbers match. I inherited the car and my friend bought it as a bucket list item and I believed the bottom of the car was original and have the paper trail when it was the original owners car and he was the the one who build it I have all his paperwork. The body is Kevlar and came from "Shell Valley" in San Francisco. Does anyone know where I check these numbers for the engine and tranmission?? Don Johnston
Contact Shell Valley, the folks wh made your replica-Cobra, for information: https://www.shellvalley.com/ I am sure they can help with any information that you need about the car. It is not a Shelby American product but is a nice ride to have. Enjoy.
Don Johnston
Also, the Club Cobra web site has a forum section or Shell Valley: http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/shell-valley-companies/
twobjshelbys
In any case this is not a barn find original 196x Shelby Cobra. Shell Valley is a kit car replica. Sorry, it's not going to fund your retirement. Shell Valley is in Nebraska. They make a nice kit but the quality depends on the assembler.
