Tom DiCicco
Looking for car activity in the Steamboat CO area other than the RMMR in June. Anyone know of anything going on this year?
John Allen
Might check with the Colorado Shelby Club. They usually have several events throughout the year. And there is always the Shelby American Collection event in Boulder every September.
twobjshelbys
Check in the Rocky Mountain area subforums. I used to post a list of the shows in the northern Colorado area usually each spring. Almost all of those shows still exist in one form or another. Good Guys moved from Spring to September. I think the Northern Colorado Mustang group still has a show although it's moved. There was also Horsefeathers which drew lots of Mustangs. Estes Park has a car show during their fair although having moved it from downtown (where you could park the car and go to the local shops and eateries for lunch) to the fairgrounds I've heard attendance and participation are down. Bill_T
Thought that was you. The Wild West Ford club is still very active in Cheyenne. You will probably see them for the RMMR. Might check for events on the Western slope, Grand Junction usually has a lot going on. Enjoy driving the Mountain roads, I moved to Florida and most of the roads here are flat and boring.
