Trying to see how in the hell you got almost 14PSI! Thanks!
ingram4868
Have you done similar testing using 91 octane? That is all we have available on the left coast.

What is redline for both stages as compared to stock??? Rick (OSHELBYO)
Tucker
Jay, Where did you measure the boost on your dyno runs? Before or after the IC? My car only made 11.6PSI max on EVO's MD. Trying to see how in the hell you got almost 14PSI! Thanks! IT was taken off a vacuum line on the side of the blower. Stock is 9-9.5 and the pulley is worth 4 PSI over stock so it's right on the money. All pulley cars I've seen pull 13-14 PSI with the 2.6. 11.6 sounds like a 2.8 pulley. Tucker
Have you done similar testing using 91 octane? That is all we have available on the left coast. We send our tunes out with 91 and do most of our testing with 91 and have seen almost no power change. 91-93 is so minimal in what you can do in the tune, it's not as big of a deal as you would think. Thanks Jay
Tucker
Tucker, Does this mean your Redline changes as you go up to Sttage I and then Stage II...am I reading the dyno sheet right? What is redline for both stages as compared to stock??? Rick (OSHELBYO) No redline change with the stages. Both are shut down about 6400 rpm. It looks as one trails a few rpm further then the other, but when your on the dyno your watching a ton of things and stopping at the exact rpm everytime is near impossiable. The stock run is limited to the RPM limiter in the computer. Hope this helps, Jay

Jay Hi Jay all the Shelby's I have seen as stock have 8 psi and with your 2.6" Pulley as per talking to you on the phone you told me 12psi is the norm with the 2.6" pulley, now you say 9-9.5psi is the norm and 13-14psi with 2.6 pulley.pls enlighten me.hydro
Tucker
Bottom line is the pulley is worth 4 psi. Not all cars are the same and I have several dyno graphs of stockers, including mine, pulling 9.5-10 PSI stock. Those cars will net 13.5-14 PSI with a 2.6. It all depends on what you start off with, where you live and so on. Cars that are around 8 stock will net around 12 with the pulley. Also remember the stock gauge is not the best tool for accurate PSI testing. It's very hard to drive hard and watch that little gauge. Peak boost will be around the 63-6500 rpm mark.
