tpenziner
Hello all! Former 2010 & 2011 GT500 owner, I had sold them back in 2012 and yesterday I just purchased a 2014 Shelby Convertible (red/White Stripes) fully loaded, 1150 miles on it! Excited to be back behind the wheel again, love this car! Look to see if anyone has put a strut brace on this year and if it's worth doing? Thank you. Norton
Welcome back! I ran a strut tower brace on my '13 until I upgraded the intake, making it difficult to fit. The brace looked good, but I can't say I noticed a big difference in handling with it. Obviously, YMMV.
JHawk
Glad you got another GT500! We are actually having the Cobra Jet lowering springs taken off and placing the factory springs back on. While the look is good, drivability suffers. I cannot enjoy the car while I am constantly concerned about the road surfaces, speed bumps, etc. Would enjoy the GT500 much more just being able to drive it and not worry about bottoming out. tpenziner
Thanks all, I had one on my 10 & 11, to be honest there wasn't a huge different and i've read anything you put on rubbs, so not worth it.
