crispy23c
For those of you who don't know, the Terlingua Mustangs were Trans-Am Shelbys that took the SCCA B-class from '67 to '70. Killer race cars. Dallas Mustang Resto-Mod Linky: http://www.dallasmustang.com/page/specialtycars.dm450.php They're building them from old Mustang coupes (pic attached). Another article here: http://www.mustangmonthly.com/featuredvehi..._hardtop_clone/ What I found 'interesting' is that they are using the Terlingua Logo (pic attached), and go further to talk about "Dallas Mustang could market Terlingua "branded parts," like the brakes, suspension components, and rack-and-pinion steering, tentatively named the "Rabbit Rack." edit: this article is older. crispy23c
Crispy, thanks for this info! I didn't know and appreciate learning more about them. These cars were a force to be reckoned with in the '60s and dominated their class. Somewhere in my archives I have an old article from the Shelby Club. If I can dig it up, I'll scan & post it. I cannot wait to see this breed resurrected from SAI!!! This will be exciting!!!
