hogdriver
Hi. Just bought a 16 Shelby GT-H last week, and looking for some guidance regarding adding Hood Struts to keep the Hood Up without the metal rod. The hood seems to be much heavier than the stock one. I also have a 2015 Roush that I added the hood struts and it worked out just fine. Anyone out there have any suggestions?? I hate the metal rod! BlackSGT
Check Redline hood struts. You might try posting this request in the 2016 GT-H forum further down on the main page.
SoCalSGT
First off, welcome! ....and congrats. Call Cal Pony Cars and explain what you have and what you need. They have the struts/kits in various colors and strengths. I needed a heavier duty strut for my GT350 than the standard strut. They should be able to take care of you. http://calponycars.com/
