Thanks for posting should be a fun week and heading down to the Daytona 24 . 7 mustang GT4’s are in the conti race .

Awesome.  I'll be doing Barrett Wednesday through Sunday, go home for a few days of work and be down in Daytona Thursday night to work the Conti race and then the 24.  I usually go to Daytona on Monday to work tech and all the practices/qualifying, but have management meetings at work Monday - Thursday dang it!!  Oh well, they need the most help for pit lane duties during 24 hours of racing, so getting bye with just working the races this year.  At least I get to go!

Sure is nice to see the conti race especially the GS Class back.  7 mustangs + the other manufactures will make for some exciting racing. Do you know anything about the GT4 camaro situation ?  Thanks

EDIT... 31 cars on the entry list but no Camaro. Looks like PW has them .

Since I wasn't down there for the Roar, I haven't had a chance to talk to my buddies about what is all going on with the different manufacturers.  There are quite a few others getting into the GT4 game that I would expect to see later this year and then next year.  Jaguar just announced a GT4 F type program in Europe today.

2007 Shelby gt pretty weak sold $17500. 14000 miles. Two owner  Wednesday not a great day

edit .....my mistake it sold for $20,350 with all the fees included.  that’s about right in today’s market. Don’t know the condition of the paint and stripes.

You can get a pretty good guess of what BJ thinks a car will sell for by when it is slotted.  Early days == lower prices.  Early in the day == lower price for that day.

are you talking about lot 347.1? Its a 2007 SGT Black with 14k miles and B-J shows on its website that it went for $20,350.

I can’t understand why people go to a collector car auction and buy a non collector car. Then they pay Hugh fees and shipping expenses. Hotel room and transportation out there ....06 Mercedes SL 500 or a 16 mustang GT. Are examples. You can buy these cars all day long and pay much less. Plus you can test drive them.

To people who claim anything not built at SAI is not a real Shelby, since this Super Snake is not being built at SAI will you still choose to  apply fallacious logic and claim this Supersnake  is not a "real" Shelby?

  1. Wow a couple of 428 big block Mach 1’s are not selling that well... so far under $50k. Boss 302 aren’t keeping pace also with past prices. Maybe it’s a soft market. These cars are claiming rotisserie restorations and all

It SOLD for $17,500 then you add the B-J Fee's and that brings it UP to $20,350.

The one I saw was black. On last night...I think that's the one we were talking about.

722 miles on the instrument panel picture on the black KR.

69/70 Shelby’s either 350 or 500 are not fetching money over $70K. 10 years ago they would easily bring over $90K. I have owned a few of these in the past so I do follow them for fun. Seems like a weak market on these. 20years from now they will probably follow the same faith as the model T. Owners who appreciate these cars will be pushing up daisies. It’s to bad these Shelby’s aren’t in Saturdays docket

Oh well.

I noticed @ Mecum auction this year there were more original cars then ever before. That’s where I’d like to see the market going . Way to many Resto mods at BJ. What happens to a Resto mod or a custom job after 10 years and the restoration starts to deteriorate ? We shall see what happens to the value. It’s just a used car IMO. Saturday is  30% BLING day.   No matter what shows up it’s priceless in the bidders eyes. Fun to watch as the money flows from one car to another. But it’s also OMG day  !

GTO beautiful and really done well and a gorgeous GT350
