David Hawkins
Is there any Lawyers on TS that can do the “Non-Profit” paper work for a Tallahassee Florida Business? After all these Years, I have decided to go for it. I have already changed the name of my Business which is an LLC. Every article I have read said it is best to use an Attorney to file the paper work. Any idea on what it will cost?
Don Johnston
I am not an attorney but have been down this road in my State. Be sure of what type of business you are declaring. A car club or "hobby club" is a Not For Profit. A Non-Profit has to meet various State and Federal (501C)standards. You should check with a qualified attorney to make sure you get right in your State. Your attorney fees should be a deductible business expense. Good luck.
