Two people who should have contacted the Registry before.............

Well there are at least two people out there who would have benefited from contacting the Shelby American Registry before writing a check.

The first person who purchased this owner modified Ford Mustang as a Shelby GTH only to be told by their insurance adjuster, nope we're only paying a Mustang GT claim.

And then the person who purchased the wrecked car at auction thinking they scored a great deal on a $30k Shelby GTH only to find out today that a dash plaque stating its owner is a member of the Hertz Sports Car club does not equal a SAI installed CSM plaque.

Steve, how did you find out the the sequence of events on this? Did the insurance company contact you or the buyer after the auction?
