Black Mustang Nationals!

Ruf according to this definition found in the dictionary your Mustang is not considered Black.

Black is a relatively uncommon coat color in horses, though not so unusual as to be considered rare. For a horse to be considered black, it must be completely black except for white markings. A visible difference between a true black and a dark chestnut or bay is seen in the fine hairs around the eyes and muzzle; on a true black these hairs are black, even if the horse is sun-bleached, on other colors, they will be lighter.

Yours has some silver on the side and on the hoofs/ I mean wheels. :beatdeadhorse: :hysterical2:

My wife has MS.

She was diagnosed a year and a half ago.

She had to quit her IT gig at Grady-White Boat Company, which she loved.

Her MS is secondary-progressive. The worst kind.

She can no longer enjoy being out in the sun.

Which means no beach - no outdoor cookouts in the summer, etc.

Yes - physically challenged.

She typically sleeps half of every day.

Keep her in your thoughts, please.

I did not know, Ruf. You and your wife stay strong, hear?

fyi - I used to ride the MS150 events around Philly years ago - knees can't handle it now. Though my bro-in-law is a now team captain and is doing the City to Shore ride from Philly to the Jersey Shore again this year. I did the shore ride and the Lancaster County Amish country ride some 20 years ago. My ass is still hurting from that one. no puns please...

Thanks, bro.

It's been a rough ride for us the last year and a half.

Lots of adjustments in our daily routines. Simple stuff.

Emotional stuff for everyone here.

But - we're not quittters.

We're resilient.

Thanks for riding.

Moabman did a ride in Texas last month. He had one of the riders wear a bandana for Christine. Then - he sent it to her. Very classy guy.

If I am going to drive it there it is going to be in the show. I just talked to Coiled1 (Jim) and he may be interested in following me up. Maybe we can get a caravan out of the "Hurricane State"!

Are you going to bring the RufStang-if not you can ride with us!

Absolutely bringing the car! (might trailer it - depends)

I met a handful of Black Mustang folks at the car show in VA Beach a couple of months ago.

I'm probably going to hook up with them at the junction of I-40 & I-85 in NC for the ride to Nashville.

I need to make reservations at the host hotel soon to be sure we stay gathered up.

Let me know what it is (TX) so I can get a room too. We may hook up with you at I-40 and I-75 but let me look at my maps first. Might be quicker for us to go NW up through Murfreesboro. How about it MrFarmdog(SushiMan) and Spiderman-you all up for a meet?

Just talked to Jim and he is in. Silly question though-do they allow white Shelbys with Blue Stripes? He was just making sure. He reminded me that the leaves should look nice at this time of year. Is the Black Mustang Club a national club? Just wanted some history but I can get that myself!
