Cars and Coffee Las Vegas has moved effective 8-Oct-2016 from the mall area on Eastern Ave south of 215 to the Speed Vegas race track at 14200 S. Las Vegas Blvd. Hours are 7AM-10AM.

Guess I can look the address up but where is this close to?

It's south of the M casino on Las Vegas Blvd. Way south of the active part of the strip. First is the Silverton and the split road Windmill East and Blue Diamond (road to Pahrump to west), then more south to the M, then the new track.

Is there a new race track in Vegas?

Saw something that reminded me and went looking to see if the Vegas C&C even still existed and lo-and-behold it looks like it is now held at Shelby American on Saturday mornings.  Saw nothing about it here so thought I'd drop a note to the locals.  I haven't been since they moved it from the place where it was less than a mile round trip.

I went to the Las Vegas C&C in May 2019 at the Shelby facility. One nice feature is that the museum was open at 7:00 am.

I was highly disappointed at the turnout.....probably 12 - 15 total cars. Maybe I was there on a slow week, but I have not gone back. I may try it again sometime, but it’s an 80 mile drive one way for me.

Anyone else been there recently?

When the C&C was at the facility on Eastern there would be 150-200 cars.  Then the guy that "owned" it just picked up and moved it, very few followed.  A local dealership took over the show at the original site which still gets a pretty good turnout.  The difference is that the mall has plenty of places to get coffee and breakfast, the track version had only a food truck with coffee priced about the same as a beer at a NFL game.

The Las Vegas C&C has been held at Shelby American since at least the beginning of 2019, perhaps longer. Since its not a Team Shelby event it hasn't received much exposure here on Team Shelby but is listed on the Shelby.com calendar.

Turnout is on the low side but that should be expected since all the bouncing around the event has had. Chris Ruby from SAI sales and Michelle Mooney from the Shelby Store are the hosts each Saturday and are looking forward to growing the event so if you have any suggestions please reach out to them.
