We will help Dan and Linda Neve bring a Message of Hope to those touched by Breast and Prostate cancer, as well as raise money to cure it! Since 2010, Dan has turned his Shelby GT500 into a mobile billboard for businesses that have donated to the charity. Dan and his Shelby have attended automotive events across the country, visiting 23 states. He and Linda have also worked with Ford and the ‘Warriors in Pink’ program to raise money for the Susan G Komen Foundation. The Neve’s recently donated $58,000 to Marshfield Clinic, which was earmarked directly for research. The weekend event will include car cruises, optional laps on the track, group photo, car shows, parties and banquets. This year, Team Shelby Great Lakes will host a Sunset Boat Cruise on Friday, September 30th from 5:00-7:00pm. Relish the beauty of the Wisconsin River with friends while enjoying a selection of beer, wine and appetizers. I believe Dan mentioned something north of $30K being raised just last weekend at the event for Cancer research. A big thank you to Dan and all the help he has gotten from others to make the event so successful!!!! WTG Dan!!! Did Art mention he seen me driving back to the Dells from the distillery Friday? lol Not sure if he was with you or not....in any case, see you at the event next year!! (see you at the BASH before that!) Hey Jim, He DID indeed tell me he saw you! He just didn't know if you knew it was him as he was in his Semi delivering for Roundy's at the time! I am so glad you were able to make it to Cruise for a Cause and that you had a good time! Kyle Caraway who heads up the Shelbyfest in Missouri was there also. If you got the chance to meet him, I am sure he Loved your Car!! The Bash and Shelbyfest are two events we always look forward to! I hope Cruise for a Cause can start to bring people from All OVER as well! These are all great events to support good causes and the time with Friends and the cars are the Plus!!
