Shelby GT350 vs Supercharged Mustang GT 5.0

Interesting. I wonder how much is car and how much is driver. Would be interesting to see each do several runs, and then swap cars for several runs.

Considering the Driver in the GT 350 must have been sleeping when the Flag Dropped, very bad reaction time, and he had pretty slow shifts, it seemed as if he was taking it easy.

Supercharged vs NA, no real surprise there. What's surprising to me is how close it was. A couple of hairpin turns at the end would have had different results. (LOL)

Close? The Blue Gt looked to be 12 to 16 Car Lengths ahead.

There goes a a minute or two in my life that I'll never get back. What a waste of time to create that video just to prove something everyone already knew. The GT350 is not a drag race car. DUH!

Well, not the way THAT guy was driving it. Put John Force or Ashley Force behind the wheel and do it again.

I keep hearing the same thing, "Don't Super Charge it"........Will the Flat Plane Crank 5.2 handle a Blower or a Turbo?

Well, Lethal's initial reports looked REALLY promising, so much so I almost dropped the Terlingua idea. But then I hard from some insiders that they hurt the motor, and that it would hold up in the short term, but was simply a matter of when, not if. Well, we know what a 5.0 block costs to replace. Even getting your hands on a 5.2 block? And at what cost? Well, then it all made better sense to do what I did.

Keep in mind though- I based my decision on the fact that I dabble in all around performance. I may do a drag race one weekend, a track another, and then drive it down a barren Texas highway or airport runway to see if I can squeeze 200 out of it.

If I had a membership to a kick ass track? I would have bought an R and never looked back.
