Edsel Ford II arrested in Michigan for domestic violence -reports

July 5 (Reuters) - Edsel Ford II, a member of the board of directors for Ford Motor Co and the great grandson of company founder Henry Ford, was arrested in suburban Detroit on domestic violence charges, local media reported on Tuesday.

Ford, 67, was expected to be arraigned later on Tuesday following his arrest in Grosse Pointe Farms, WDIV-TV and WXYZ-TV reported, citing sources.

The city's court clerk's office was not immediately available to comment and a source at Grosse Pointe Farms' police department said he could not comment.

Ford was elected to the board of directors in 1988 and is married with four sons, according to a biography on the company website.

"We are aware of what has been reported in the press, but it would be inappropriate to comment on personal matters," a Ford company spokeswoman said in an email.

Keep in mind that there are three sides to every story.... his, hers and the truth!

My thought exactly! But the man is always guilty until proven innocent these days...

I started to write that and then deleted it, but it is true. I was told by a lawyer just that... the legal folks will side with the woman unless there is considerable evidence against it.

Yes, and also another unfortunate side effect of our current world in which political correctness has gone mad. Now don't get me wrong; I'm not saying the I think Ford is guilty or not. The facts and/or courts will bear that out.

In all seriousness if he indeed beat his wife I don't care who he is he should pay and pay dearly....On the other hand if he's innocent hopefully he'll have a fair trial and is found not guilty

thing is these days as crazy as political correctness has gone way so far out of whack...being rich sort of helps A LOT!!!!!
