Shadow34606
Hey guys, I was wondering, how can I clean under my hood, would I just spray Purple Power and let it sit, then spray it off with a hose, I don't want to ruin anything with water, any help would be great.....because I have the vents on the hood, pollen gets in there, and gets all over the engine....or would simple Green be better to use, any advice would be great... ilmor
I would start with a leaf blower followed by a shop vac (including brush attachment) to get all the loose stuff off. From there I'll let the others chime in.
ShelbyKR664
I use compressed air attached a 12" air gun to get in tight places. I use it on the grill and even in the interior to blow stuff from under the seat.
Secondo
Hand wash with car wash soap and water with a car wash mitt. Avoid an open air filter, cover it with a clean rag or towel. Lightly rinse dry.
MJN
I believe Purple Power is caustic enough to stain or discolor bare aluminum specially if let to sit. Be careful with stronger degreasers like them.
