Norton
It was a good day at the Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack, held at the Colorado Springs Airport (over 6000ft of elevation, contributing to a DA of over 9000ft). Colorado Car Addicts and the CO Shelby Breakfast Club raced in the PRO AM (no formal time slips) lanes, relying on GPS for speed readings. Forum member results I remember include: kpinco's 2013 GT500 hit 161MPH and my 2013 GT500 hit 160MPH. Even more than last year, heat dissipation and traction were the primary problems we encountered. Thanks to Extreme Autoworks for their hospitality in letting us pit with them! http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a492/Nortons_Pics/Pike%20Peak%20Airstrip%20Attack/th_155MPH_zpsouirk7ny.mp4
