Marco3D
I'm in the boulder county area, is there any members in the area?
JeffJ
There are many. Most of the folks in the Colorado Shelby Breakfast Club are in the southern Denver area around Parker/Castle Rock, but there are quite a few of us up north also. I'm straight east of Boulder in the Brighton area.
JeffJ
There are many events coming up soon. Here's a couple: The CSBC has a strong presence at the Concourse show at Arapaho Community College this Sunday June 5th. http://www.abilityconnectioncolorado.org/colorado-concours/ The largest Mustang Show in Colorado is Father's Day Weekend in Steamboat Springs, Colorado June 16th - 18th. We had over 100 Shelby's there last year, over 500 Mustangs on the street in Steamboat Springs. http://www.rockymountainmustangroundup.org/
twobjshelbys
Check my old posts in this region subforum. Almost all of the events still happen but I have not researched the dates for 2016 since I no longer live in the area. The ones I went to almost every year were: 1. Estes Park show but they moved it from the downtown park to the fairgrounds, so there isn't much to do except hang around the car. 2. The Horsefeathers show. I think it still goes on. If I recall this was in Greeley then moved to the Stapleton mall area which has lots to do besides the show (I used to park right next to Toby Keith's and went there for a cool refreshment and lunch and could still see my car! Alas, I think Toby's closed but it's probably got something new in its place.) 3. There is a show that happens at the outlet malls in Loveland that is put on by one of the big Mustang clubs. It's always great with lots of cars and. If I recall correctly this one is usually the same weekend as Steamboat and a good alternative if you want something close to home. It's amazing the number and quality of cars they get considering Steamboat but many folks are just not up for a multi-day day event. 4. The Good Guys show, used to be in June/July but I think now in September. Generally you are there for the duration of the 3 day event but they have an open Sunday registration and a special prize (my GT got it I think for 2 or 3 years). 5. The fall fundraiser at the Shelby American Collection. If you haven't been there yet you should go anyway, open Saturdays 10-4. Enjoy the area! We lived in Lyons for almost 20 years but retired to Vegas. I could afford to live and work in Boulder County but just living there was financially irresponsible. Besides, our pool water is 93 right now...
Norton
Welcome, Marco! There are many. Most of the folks in the Colorado Shelby Breakfast Club are in the southern Denver area around Parker/Castle Rock... +1. Check my old posts in this region subforum. Almost all of the events still happen but I have not researched the dates for 2016 since I no longer live in the area... +1 to this as well. (i.e., Look my old posts in this sub-forum as well.) The Colorado Shelby Breakfast Club site is located at http://www.shelbybreakfastclub.org/, but more timely info is usually passed via the (closed) Facebook Group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/276924675707842/. (Membership info is available at http://www.shelbybreakfastclub.org/membership.html.) If your interested in more "general" car events, I also recommend checking out Colorado Car Addicts calendar, available at https://www.facebook.com/ColoradoCarAddicts/events. You'll find a wide variety of car shows, cruises, and events posted there.

JeffJ
Also, if you like Drag Racing, the club I belong to, Denver Mustang Club, regularly races on Friday night Club Clash events at Bandimere Speedway. The next one is this Friday night, tomorrow. We have a couple guys with GT500's who run with us in our club. Also, the 12th of this month is Fun Ford Day at Bandimere Speedway. Drag Racing, Car Show, and other events. There is a class specifically for Shelby's there in the show.
Norton
In addition to the recurring 1/4 mile opportunities at Bandimere, the Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack is right around the corner and summer will (unofficially) end with The Colorado Mile. Norton
Still not sure what's going on with your links, Ken. +1 for the All American Car Show. It was a good time when I was there three years ago, but a little too distant for me.
mikeljgt500kr
This is an event we have been going to in Vail, a great gathering of cars, road tours, and planes too. Usually lots of Shelbys. http://www.vailautomotiveclassic.com
