William Rodgers
My local Ford Dealer is not a big mustang dealer, but they now have 3 GT-350's, one is at least a few months old. Anyone else seeing this? Could be good news for those looking to buy this spring!!!!
William Rodgers
By the way it's Sarat Ford, I would bet MSRP could happen now that they have 3.

twobjshelbys
$77k & $70k "MSRP" Yeah, he's not posting window stickers... That's at least 20K maybe 25K markup.
cobra567
Dealer in Carlsbad Ca has 15 gt350's marked up $25k. Thats a bargain vs the previous admin of $35k. I talked to one of their sales guys and he said if someone is really serious they would sell a car of $17-18k mark up. I cant wait to see them discounted whne the 17's are available. sheppd01
This dealer has at least 10 and all have a 20k markup. http://inventory.koonssterlingford.com/web/iui/#_vehicle29683262 There is also a very small dealer near my house that I would guess maybe sales 10 new mustangs a year. He also has a GT350 sitting on the show room floor. I haven't even gone in to see how much. In 5 years that is the only Shelby I have seen on his lot. New or used..... If the these dealer inventories continue to build the prices will fall. On a side note I am in Bozeman MT. The ford dealer here still has a new 08 KR sitting on the show room floor

Off topic for a second... MAN I MISS CARLSBAD RACEWAY. Okay I'm back. It looks like more 350s are sitting on lots across the country. When does/did the ordering start for the 2017s? William Rodgers
$77k & $70k "MSRP" Exactly, do they not watch supply vs sales across the industry? Fantastic cars, but MSRP should be the price at this point, cars sitting for months at a time should tell them that.
Secondo
Yeah, he's not posting window stickers... That's at least 20K maybe 25K markup. I agree with you but as far as the dealer saying the price is MSRP, that's just not right...

mhr1961
There are a couple of 2016 GT-350's here in Dallas. They at least seem honest about their ADM. They post MSRP and the Dealer Sale Price which is currently 7.6k and 8k above MSRP. They will probably take less than the 8k because they have been calling me twice a week for the past 3 weeks trying to get me to come in and "talk". One is "Magnetic" color, the other is "Avalanche", both have technology package.
mikeljgt500kr
Amazing dealers are still trying to gouge customers on this car. This is just not good PR for Ford, but the dealers are just that desperate and greedy I guess.
cmcmotorworks
I'm holding out for a 100 mile 2017 2 to 3 years from now for 10k below MSRP. Track Pack and Tech pack. I'll have my cake and eat it too !

Voodoo Child
IMO … there will be an opportunity to find reasonable prices for a 2016 Shelby as the 2017 models roll-out; however, it appears that the bulk of the remaining 2016 units are assembled with the “Tech” options. We already know that a “Tech package” is the least desirable when considering using the car for sustained track applications. For those individuals that are content with a nice street ride, deal opportunities will be plentiful. I recommend that if the tech options suits you, just refrain from driving a “Track” package …or you may regret the choice. Perhaps that is why you will find plenty of used ones (Tech) already for sale.
William Rodgers
They will make the same mistake with the Focus RS, drive buyers to the competition. VW and Subaru will be happy when they do so.

SAI-Steven
Interesting to learn of dealerships having 1/2 dozen to some having over a dozen GT350's on their lot. You would think that corporate Ford would give priority to dealerships that were moving the cars and slow down or stop sending GT350's to dealerships that weren't moving the cars. It appears supply & demand are reversing their roles which is great for buyers. Steve

William Rodgers
My guess is they will start at $10K on the RS, being a cheaper car they will probably get a $5K ADM from those that have to have it first. I saw it at the NY Auto-show, it's a nice car, I hope they use that Blue Color on the Mustang at some point, it would look Great!!!

That is precisely what Chrysler did with the Hellcats. Dealers that moved cars off the lots got more (sure, some probably did so with an ADM, but those dropped quickly as the time-in-inventory clock started ticking down to 0. svttim
The dealers are buying them from each other. I spoke to my dealer and you are right on. The reason they have so many is they have buying them from other dealers and paying ADM's. Maybe not Greedy but certainly questionable intelligence wise
