SAI-Steven
Just a heads up for any potential 2006-07 GTH buyers who are looking at a car where the seller is representing the car as a never rented executive/licensee from Hertz. It has come to the attention of the Shelby Registry that more and more sellers are misrepresenting their car as a never rented executive/licensee car with no proof to back their claim up. In fact many of these misrepresented cars were undeniably used in the Hertz rental fleet. So if you're looking at a GTH where the seller is making this claim, before writing the check be sure to ask for and verify any proof they have that would back up their claim. The Shelby American Registry is currently compiling a list of all the known executive/licensee cars but if a potential buyer doesn't do their homework, by researching the claims made by the seller, the odds are you'll be paying a premium price for a misrepresented car. ITHERTZ66
I've noticed this repeatedly happening on advertised cars as well. These Hertz cars are often misrepresented in many of the ads I've seen in more ways than one.
phyllis
My Shelby GT H is a former never rented executive car. I have proof/documentation. So if you find A GT H stating never rented executive car they should have paper work to back it up. Thanks

Thanks Want to underscore an important point made by both Steven and Phyllis.......ask the seller for verification. Both Exec and Licensee cars came with documentation exclusive to them that was NOT part of the owners packet documentation for the fleet cars. So a seller claiming to have "all the papers" should be able to provide unquestionable proof his car is an Exec or Licensee car.
