This guy says has a pre-production GT500 and it has black stripes. I'm not sure if he had them put on or not. Here's a couple more from tonite - I ran into him again at another NoVA meet. I must say this guy has great taste in cars. (especially color choice) If you look closely you can tell those are not factory stripes. The G and the T are not connected. The guy I got my stripes from used a set of original GT500 stripes to cut his die from. I'm trying to keep mine as close to original as possible. Never would have an orange car, but this is a sunday driver, it really gets attention. i have tungstein side stripe, would have liked o.t.t stripes, but they are not offered from the factory, original 'verts didn't have top stripes either.
