It was built on June 26th (2nd day of production). It is a Vista Blue Coupe with White Stripes. Fully loaded (ambient lighting, HID's, premium interior, navigation, etc.). With every new year comes a price increase! Ford raised their price by a $1,000 on the base price, so don't ya think the dealer should be able to raise the ADM as well??? Yes, he did, and thank you for knowing that I don't set the price (I'm just the messenger). There's some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that the car is priced exactly the same as the last two 07 GT500's we sold. The good news is that MSRP is higher on 2008's and this car has more equipment than the 07's (ambient lighting and HID's), so that means the ADM is actually lower than our last two 07's. I'm in the process of contacting everyone on our list (60+ people), so it'll be interesting to see how our price is perceived. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The ambient lighting sounds corny, but is actually rather cool. The HID's look like regular headlights until you turn them on, but they aren't the funky bright blue I was expecting. Five Oh B Posted July 22, 2007 Report Share Posted July 22, 2007 Thanks Five Oh.... well that puts to rest the rumors that the SHELBY would be centered across the back on the 08's If they centered the SHELBY across the back, they'd have to install the letters AFTER the stripes are put on at the Woodhaven facilty, instead of at the Flat Rock plant. That's probably the biggest reason the letters are forced to the far left. The Shelby GT's (and GT-H's) are striped and lettered at SAI after the cars leave Flat Rock, so that's likely why it's no big deal to spread the letters across the back on those models.
